Champagne Lété-Vautrain, established in 1968 by Robert Lété and Liliane Vautrain in Château-Thierry, remains a family-owned estate now managed by their descendants, Sophie and Ignace Baron. The estate owns 8 hectares in the Vallée de la Marne, cultivating a blend of Pinot Meunier (49%), Chardonnay (28%), and Pinot Noir (23%).
One of their notable offerings is the Brut 204, a non-vintage blend comprising 50% Pinot Meunier, 25% Chardonnay, and 25% Pinot Noir. This cuvée undergoes a minimum of 36 months of lees aging, contributing to its depth and complexity. The Brut 204 is a deep golden hue with fine bubbles, offering aromas of apple, peach, apricot, and subtle dried fruit and biscuity notes. On the palate, it is well-balanced, complex and noted for being an excellent aperitif.
