Château Nadal Hainaut is a captivating family-run estate nestled in the heart of Roussillon, near Perpignan, with a winemaking history dating back to 1826. Spread across 115 hectares, of which 43 are under vine, the estate lies on clay-limestone soils layered with ancient river pebbles—an ideal terroir enriched by the sun and swept by the cooling Tramontane wind. Since 2010, the estate has embraced organic farming, reflecting a deep respect for biodiversity and environmental stewardship.
A diverse palette of grape varieties thrives here, including old-vine Carignan, Grenache Noir and Gris, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Macabeu, and both Muscat Petit Grain and d’Alexandrie. Vinification blends modern precision—thanks to temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and pneumatic presses—with traditional methods like manual punch-downs and bâtonnage, ensuring both freshness and depth in the wines.
Château Nadal Hainaut produces an expressive range of wines under the AOP Côtes du Roussillon and IGP Côtes Catalanes designations, as well as sweet Muscat de Rivesaltes.
