The Story

Domaine Giraudon, situated in the village of Chitry-le-Fort near Chablis in Burgundy, is a family-run estate currently managed by siblings Aurélie and Thibaut Giraudon.

Vineyards are planted on slopes with Kimmeridgian chalky marl soils, similar to those found in Grand Cru Chablis. This soil composition contributes to the distinctive minerality and freshness of their wines. The estate cultivates Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Aligoté.

Their Bourgogne Aligoté is an unoaked, fragrant, crisp wine with notes of green apples and refreshing lemongrass. The Chitry Blanc is produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the village. Vineyards are situated on slopes with Kimmeridgian limestone soils, similar to those in Chablis, contributing to the wine's notable minerality. The Chitry Rouge is 100% Pinot Noir. Light in colour, wonderfully aromatic, fruity, and refreshing, the wine offers great freshness and purity.
